Sunday Sermon: He is Risen!

He is Risen! Christos anesti!

And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,

1) Power of Resurrection

- Stone : Rolled away

- Seal : Broken

- Soldiers : Trembled

- Satan : Defeated

- Sin : Lost the grip

2) The Peace of Resurrection

“On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.”

3) Prospect of Resurrection

“Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

4) Purpose of Resurrection

GO OUT! - explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”
