/God of Glory
“To this he replied: “Brothers and fathers, listen to me! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was still in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Harran. ‘Leave your country and your people,’ God said, ‘and go to the land I will show you.’ “So he left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Harran.”
“The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.”
“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”
“The people all responded together, “We will do everything the Lord has said.” So Moses brought their answer back to the Lord.”

“Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them. He said:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Poor - "penes" -
to toil for daily subsistence
Poor - "ptochos"
destitute of wealth, influence, position powerless to accomplish an end,
Reduced to begging, asking alms
Lacking in anything
